Metropolis Foundation participated in the 9th India CSR Summit 2022, a two-day event which was held in Delhi on 15th and 16th November 2022. The India CSR Summit 2022, co-hosted by CSRBOX and NGOBOX, is the country’s largest CSR forum that aims to bring together businesses, CSR foundations, Government agencies, non-profits, social enterprises and consultancy firms to network, collaborate, and scale-up activities in the development and impact sectors. The Summit enables transformative learning through a mix of activities like conferences, masterclasses, awards, panel discussions, keynote sessions, product demos and networking sessions.
The Summit was attended by Dr. Prakash Gurnani, Trustee, Metropolis Foundation, Dr. Kirti Chadha, Chief Scientific Officer and Group Head CSR, Metropolis Healthcare, and Shalini Sahay, Lead CSR, Metropolis Healthcare.
Dr. Kirti Chadha was one of the speakers for the ‘Role of Tech for Impact in Healthcare Delivery’ (Health for Good) session. She highlighted how technology could support accelerating the healthcare delivery system and emphasized the importance of Public-Private partnerships and adopting a blended approach while implementing healthcare models. She also highlighted the ‘Too Shy To Ask’ App and urged the participants to spread awareness about it to young people around them.
The event gave our team a platform to network and liaison with various corporate foundations, NGOs and share information about the various programs of Metropolis Foundation. This led to a host of agencies approaching Metropolis Foundation for collaboration.
