about the program

'Too Shy To Ask' is an award-winning app created to help adolescents get accurate and scientific information from doctors and experts in the field. 50% of the 40 million smartphone users are under 25 (Nielson Survey 2013), which is handy for spreading awareness and education. Understanding reproduction helps the youth understand unsafe sex and other high-risk behaviour. It reduces the number of sexually transmitted infections which lead to infertility, chronic abdominal pain, cancer, and even death. It also raises awareness about legal rights, gender equity and equality. More importantly, a unique “Ask the Expert'' feature allows users to anonymously ask questions to top experts. Available in 5 languages (Hindi, Marathi, English, Gujarati, and Tamil), the app is free to download both on the App Store and Google Play store. Too Shy To Ask also has a very informative website.
